2  Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, you should be able demonstrate the following learning outcomes:

1. Describe and critically discuss the philosophy, purpose and aims of the placement provider with regards to their clients or customers;

2. Outline the major managerial policies, and describe the established management structure, within your placement provider;

3. Evaluate and critically discuss the placement and university experience with regards to your personal and professional self-development;

4. Reflect on and evaluate your professional practice with a view to future development in keeping with life-long learning;

5. Discuss your career development and the significance of the placement in informing this;

6. Demonstrate evidence of a range of competencies in a personal and professional context including employability considerations.

These learning outcomes are assessed in a number of ways, which are described in Section 15 of this handbook.
